In her cover story, the 43-year-old badass reveals about how she delivered her own baby because the doctors weren’t ready and didn’t have their gloves on.

I’m an advocate for going natural and being natural, but a few things should be taken into consideration before making the decision to become a naturalista!

You must embrace your hair. I’ve heard stories of women taking the leap to go natural and then hating it because of the way their hair looked. When it comes down to it, it’s not for everyone. But to truly be about this natural hair life you have to accept your hair, its texture, and everything that comes with it. It’s something different, but you have to fully embrace and love it.
